Our story

What started as a shared interest in creating more organized and inviting homes grew into The Polished Nest. As sisters and co-owners, Allie and Katie bring different strengths and perspectives to the business, which allows them to approach each project from both a practical and creative point of view. We enjoy working together, brainstorming ideas, and seeing a project come together from the initial plan through the finishing touches.
More than organization

The Polished Nest combines organization, decluttering, and styling under one roof. We don't believe you have to choose between a space that works well and one that reflects your personal style. We help clients decide what they actually need, determine where things should live, create systems that are easier to maintain, and then bring the room together through decorating and styling when needed. Our services include home organization, design consulting, interior decorating, seasonal styling, and move-in and move-out services.

Every home and every client is different, so we start by understanding how you use your space and what isn't working. From there, we focus on practical changes that make a noticeable difference—whether that's being able to find what you need, knowing where things belong, getting a room pulled together, or making a move more manageable. We also believe decluttering should be a thoughtful part of the process. When clients are ready to let things go, we can help sort through what they no longer need and coordinate donations when appropriate.
